Impact/Reinforcement Ministry

Mission:

Assist families and individuals in applying Biblical principles to their entire life. To minister by sharing the love of God and His plan of order for man, woman, and child. To be empowered to be an effective witness for Jesus Christ.

Daughters of the King Ministry:

To teach and train young ladies how to live a godly lifestyle that protrays the image of Jesus Christ, through the use of biblical tools and life-based experiences. The group sponsors workshops, events, and activities to train young ladies in the knowledge of being Christian women. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Sons of the King Ministry:

To teach and train young men how to live a godly lifestyle that portrays the image of Jesus Christ, through the use of biblical tools and life-based experiences. A component designed to guide young men through the process of becoming strong, young men. The group sponsors workshops, events, and activities to train young men in the knowledge of being Christian men. All ages are encouraged to attend.

Single Mothers:

A support group for women that is primarily responsible for the rearing of their children. This group encourages, supports, and trains its members through workshops, programs, and activities.

Singles Ministry:

This group supports the Biblical principle of holiness. Designed to encourage and nurture single adults who are seeking to live Christ centered lives. This group offers activites, events, and functions that inspire Godly living.

Couples Ministry:

Designed to furthur reemphasize the biblical principles the bible teaches for families. This group seeks to support and encourage couples both married and soon to be married. All couples are encouraged to seek counseling sessions before and after the marriage ceremony.

Seasoned Saints:

This organization develops, plans, and executes programs and activities for adults in the church who have reached the age of 55 years and older. This group exemplifies the message that God still speaks to and uses the seasoned saints for kingdom building.

Creative Arts and Events:

This organization utilizes the creative gift that God has given them. Some of the duties of this group include sponsoring wedding/baby showers, baby dedication ceremonies, issuing baptismal certificates, membership certificates, etc. This group is also responsible for the church calender, newsletter or church bulletin boards. Yearly events include fall bazaar, youth fest, church picnics, and Jamming for Jesus.

Men/Women of Hospitality:

This auxiliary exists to share the kindness and love of God to all at various functions sponsored by the Word of Life Tabernacle Church. The men and women in this auxiliary serve as hostesses, cooks, greeters and ushers.

Inreach:

A ministry that seeks to edify, encourage, and support the church members. The group contacts the membership in hopes of spreading the love of Christ. The group prepares and sends out cards for special or sad occasions in the lives of the church members. Resolutions for home going celebrations are prepared for families. This group also checks on members who do not attend church on a regular basis.

Pastor Aide:

Believers that seek to assist the pastor spiritually and physically. This group prays continually for the pastor, her family, and the ministry. This group is sensitive to the needs of the pastor and attempts to obtain supplies, resources and materials to make the pastor's living and work easier. This group also plans and sponsors all church services to show appreciation to the pastor.

Prayer Warriors:

A group of men and women committed to pray continuously for the pastor and ministries of the church. This group meets one hour before Bible study to intercede for the ministry and individual needs of the congregation and community at large. This group makes visits to hospitals, nursing homes, and individual homes when needed.
